Penn State Names Bolden Saturday's Starter

Robert Bolden

Sources have confirmed (GoPsuSports.com), Penn State has announced Robert Bolden, as their opening game starting QB. The 6-3, 221-pound freshman, is the first true freshman to start at QB, for Joe Pa, in 18 years.

I like the decision. The kid is fast, powerful, and dynamic. It’s a bold decision, something we need here at PSU. I’ll be the first one to jump on the Robert Bolden ban wagon.

I love the decision .. the last thing we needed was another Mike McQueary at QB.. hopefully Joe will let him run the actual “Spread HD”, instead of being scared of him running and getting hurt, as in Darryl Clark’s situation
